I recently attended the Day Intervention Unit in Victoria Hospital for a CT guided lung biopsy and am so grateful for the kindness I received. I'm afraid I didn't get the name of a couple of the nurses who worked alongside Julie in the Day Unit but they were equally compassionate. I'm in awe of their ability to co-ordinate a very busy workload so efficiently and cheerfully. In the CT suite I never once felt uneasy or apprehensive because the radiologist and staff were so kind and David kept me fully informed about what he planned to do and how it would feel at each stage during the procedure. I felt completely safe in their care both before the biopsy and immediately after. Nothing was too much trouble and so this is my sincere and heartfelt thank you to them. I stayed overnight in ward 32 and would also like to show my gratitude to every member of staff there, who were just very welcoming, so kind and thoughtful and always with a smile. They are simply amazing.
"The wonderful staff at Victoria Hospital. Can't thank them enough!"
