About: Croydon University Hospital

I presented at A&E with severe abdominal pain. Was seen and treated promptly.

Transferred to AMU. AMU were amazing.

All the staff, nursing and doctors were brilliant. friendly.

The staff members in SHMU and in AMU were excellent.

Moved to queens 1, staff not so friendly. Ward dirty and old.

Porters all also really great.

Staff member in AMU not good, first night not checked, left in pain. Notes next morning told a different story. The member of staff clearly didn't want to be there. Thats my only real complaint. such a shame when all other staff were amazing!

Thank you very much for sharing your experience and I am pleased that it was mainly very positive. I shall pass on your compliments to the various wards as it will mean a lot to the staff.

However I shall also pass on your concerns about a member of staff's attitude on AMU and also and the appearance of Queens 1 ward to the Matrons so that they are aware of your feedback and can review the issues.
