I was taken to Watford General last night suffering from chest pain and shortness of breath. After calling 111 I was called back by a GP who, after throughly checking my symptoms, dispatched what the doctor called a 'popup' ambulance and then a full size one. Both crews were excellent - friendly, efficient and caring.
I was taken to Watford General Hospital, arriving at 19:40 where again the care was first rate. I was seen quickly and the only delay was the return of blood results (understandable).
I was then seen by a doctor who examined me, explained that results were normal (big relief) and discharged me at 23:00.
I felt reassured and cared for by professional staff the whole way through - thanks again!
"Excellent care from start to finish"
