"Primary Health Care (out of hours)"

The lack of care. respect and understanding I received when I attended a booked appointment at Gloucester Royal yesterday was attrocious. The out of hours doctor made me an appointment to attend at 12.45,to have an x-ray. On arrival I waited over half an hour, then to be summoned by a doctor whose whole demeanor and attitude leaves a lot to be desired. The doctor was unfriendly, uncaring, not interested and told me 'they don't do x-rays in Primary Health Care.' I was told to go to A and E if I wanted an x-ray. The doctor would not listen, talked over me and very obviously did not care at all. What was the point of having had an appointment booked on my behalf by the out of hours on call doctor? I left in tears, in pain, as I was when I went there and angry. How dare you treat a patient who is obviously suffering like this.I will be making a formal complaint about this doctor.
