"The care given to my Father"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Elderly Medicine (Wards 51, 52, 54,55, 57, 8a & 2a)

(as a relative),

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow in Ward 52.

They looked after my father in what turned out to be his last weeks of life. The care and consideration that was shown to him was second to none. This was also shown to myself and my family and my two brothers. They could have not done anymore in keeping us informed as to my father condition and treatment. In the final hours of my Dads life they should true compassion to him and us.

It takes a certain kind of person to nurse and to say that the folk in Ward 52 had it in bucketful is no understatement

Yours faithfully

Dear CeeKay

I am sorry to read about the loss of your father. I can tell from your post how much he meant to you and your family. Thank you for your kinds words about the care your father received in Ward 52 and how that was extended to you and your family and the compassion shown by our staff.

I will share your post with the General Manager of the service to share with the staff on your behalf.

My thoughts are with you and your family.
Lisa
