"Husband twice had treatment for heart attacks"

About: Royal United Hospital / Cardiology

My husband was taken by ambulance to the RUH after suffering severe chest pains. 10 minutes after arriving we were informed he had suffered a heart attack and he was fitted with stents within 30 minutes of arrival. Stayed in CCU for a week and received excellent care. Staff were excellent not only with my husband but with me and our children. Unfortunately he suffered another heart attack a few weeks later and once again the speed in which he was seen to was excellent. Stents had collapsed due to medication not working but quickly sorted. Unfortunately his heart was damaged and now has heart failure. Attended cardiac rehab for 8 weeks which gave him some confidence back but since then he hasn't been seen and we thought he would have had an outpatients appointment by now, 7 months later. Wondering if we should call up to see if this is usual or not.
