I had a very good experience when calling NHS 24 re a suspected kidney infection. I spoke to Anne who was kind and helpful in asking questions to determine my health status. Anne explained I would be referred to the Out of Hours GP service at my local hospital and this would be arranged via call back. This was very quick, I heard back from NHS 24 around ten minutes later with an appointment time and directions to the service. I was seen very quickly by a very nice doctor and my issue was resolved quickly with medication issued directly. I feel that it is important to highlight the many positives of the NHS in these difficult times and recognise the excellent work carried out every day by dedicated staff. Thank you.
