"Mixed Bag"

I attended A&E after a knife accident. I was alone. I was frightened. I was seen after 3 hours. Things moved faster at that point and I was referred to the relevant person. I was in shock. The nurse was very kind to me and sympathetic. After being referred to another hospital for an operation to be undertaken and once back on my feet (2weeks) I called A&E to ask for nurse's details so that I could show my thanks. and appreciation for their compassion. The receptionist was rude, blunt and unwilling to assist me in any way. I would be very grateful if someone could contact me to let me know that the message of thanks has been passed onto the nurse. Most of the staff I found were professional and helpful. The receptionist was uncaring and unsympathetic with very little compassion, which is not great for 'front of house'.
