My husband was admitted to Sunderland Royal Hospital on the 21/01/17 via A&E this department was excellent everyone was so professional and caring from there he was moved to D40 he was only in there overnight so can't really comment, the staff I did meet were very nice, from there 22/01/17 he went to D40 where my husband took a turn for the worse all the staff did everything they could and called the outreach team. He was admitted to ICCU on the 23/01/17 where the staff did everything they could, we thought we had lost him but with all the hard work, dedication, and care the staff give they did save him he was in there for fourteen days, my family and I can't praise this unit enough from the receptionists, nurses, doctors, cleaners and the ones who make the tea you all deserve a million pounds a week and you all have earned your place in our hearts thank you again
