"My mother is in this hospital ..."

What I liked

My mother is in this hospital and when I visited found it very nice and clean. I have one complaint that I rang the hospital last night to ask how she was as I live in Lancs. I spoke to the ward sister who told me she had had another fall resulting in a fractured femur, and that as she was old and frail nothing could be done. I was very upset and contacted my family to ask why they had not told me only to be told they did not know. It appears that I was given misinformation which resulted in needless worry and phone calls and possibly a journey today.
