My mother, aged 92, came into the hospital in a terrible state following a very poor experience in Burton hospital. On the first night she was in St Oswald's I was told she was very ill. Thanks to the excellent care she received she is now back on her feet and enjoying life once more. The quality of care, the excellent communication by staff, the careful exploration of my mother's condition and history and the sensitive rehabilitation she received saved her life, I'm sure. Staff also made sure that I was well informed. There was a genuine effort made to discover how best to help each patient as an individual. I am very impressed and immensely grateful. And my mother says the food was marvellous!
