I don't normally write reviews but on this occasion I felt that I had to
I was referred to see a colorectal surgeon at the BMI Edgbaston by my G.P.
Big mistake. The referral was made in October and I was sent an appointment for December 2016. One day before the appointment, I was called and notified that it was cancelled but was given a quick apppointment for the following week.
The following week I attended my appointment and after 1 hour of waiting I was informed that I couldn't be seen because the consultant hadn't known about mu appointment and it was booked "accidentally", whatever that means.
Anyhow I have had 5 further cancellations since then. I am not well and the consultant and the hospital staff seem to think I am waiting for a social visit!!
Please get your act together. It seems to me that the NHS is wasting a lot of money
I guess that you prioritize private patients before NHS patients. We are all sick and should be treated the same. I know that if i was paying for this privately I would have at least been seen by another colorectal specialist rather than having to wait so long for the same useless consultant
"Could be much better"
