After being diagnosed with prostrate cancer around August 2016, I was invited to a consultation at Lincoln general hospital, where I had a chat about my condition and the treatments available for me.
From that consultation to the end of treatment in late December 2016, I was treated with compassion and respect, from the consultant down to the receptionists, I could not of asked for or even wished for a better service.
I'm convinced I would not have received a better service had I been a private patient. The doctors, nurses, radiologists, receptionist, and not least of all, my consultant, are a credit to the NHS and Lincoln oncology department, a very professional care I got team.
