Please do not take offence to the above ratings. The ratings above are based on our experiences since registering with your practice. The reception staff are not normally sympathic or friendly, and are too busy - the patient is an interruption!!

It seems as if the doctors are either unavailable - and when you do get the rare opportunity to get an appointment, it does not last longer than 10 minutes. Based on calculations as follows; 8 doctors divided 13500 patients per your website = 1687.50 patients per doctor.

1687.5 patients divided by 365 days less 104 days(weekends), less leave 30 days,

= 221 available days per year. This equates to the ability to consult with 8 patients per day based on 1hour appointments. As many people work, not being able to book an appointment at a specific time, his has a huge impact on the economy in terms of time lost to business. The appointment booking should be improved as should the time made available to patients to resolve their medical and health problems.

It is also extremely concerning that there is NO Doctor available on duty for the community in Alton on SATURDAYS/SUNDAYS, or after hours, with nearest walk in facility/hospital over 20 miles away. A bit difficult if a problem occurs outside the practice hours. .
