Was dreading going to BMI as i had had a previous bad experience at BMI Coventry. But read the reviews and all bode well.Idid not get on with the ward nurse from the getgo. They should have been more welcoming and helpful. All they did was stress me out and wind me up,To the extent.on leaving i was cussing.Paying megamoney does not always get you better care.It gets your op done quicker than NHS.so from that angle its a means to an end.To be honest the recovery room staff/ anaesthetist/ night staff and some ward staff were great. But 3 different gel scanners had to be used. 1 was faulty the 2nd flat battery and the third nurse didnt know how to operate it. discharge procedure was a joke lasting nearly 2 hrs.I wont be going back to BMI priory for my outpatients appt. Will hopefully go to spire parkway,Which is where i had my consultation and though i was going to have my op.
