Yesterday, I had chest pains for the first time since my first heart attack on the August 2015.
The response mail fae 999 ambulance control was brilliant, the crew, Brian and 'Irish' Ally was great. Almost immediately they were chapping the door!
The only 'down' side was the in between waiting in cubicle 3 for various medical examinations and observation, .
Being a full-time carer for my wife I was anxious to return home, so decided to ask to be taken home.
I rested at home and all was well, until the day! Woken by the call of nature 'alarm' I felt chest pains from right shoulder blade area through to top of right arm.
Called 111 for advice around 9am but at that time was redirected tae the GP surgery, they advised tae call an ambulance. John & Jim were the ambulance crew and the banter was there during examination and on the journey tae Ayr Hospital.
Treatment this time was a wee bit faster and more concise in my opinion, and I type this while waiting for the blood test results in a doctors room aside the A & E cubicles.
