About: Heartlands Hospital / Endocrinology

So today I went to this hospital, and I must be honest I'm saying that I was dreading it. I had an appointment at the diabetic and endocrinology clinic. Once there I waited for around 20 minutes for an appointment that was already booked. That being said, the member of staff who took my blood samples made it worth the wait. They were just lovely. Such a kind heart. Made me feel really comfortable and helped me get over my fear of needles. This is the nicest member of staff I've ever known at the NHS. Heartlands, you better hang on to them.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your kind feedback following your recent appointment in the Diabetic and Endocrinology Clinic at Heartlands Hospital. I'm so pleased to read that the staff member who took your blood helped to make you feel comfortable. Many patients often report feeling anxious about having blood taken and the manner in which our staff speak to and reassure patients can make a huge difference, as in your experience!

I will be thrilled to highlight your comments to the Matron for Diabetes and Endocrinology, as well as the Clinical Director who I'm sure will be equally pleased and ensure that your feedback is communicated to all of the team who work very hard to provide a positive patient experience.

I hope my actions are acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to post your feedback, patient experience is very important to us.
