"My appointments were therapeutic in every sense"

About: Lauriston Building

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with B. P. P. V (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), having spent several months believing that I had labyrinthitis, I met with Anne, hearing therapist at Lauriston Buildings in Edinburgh. The beginning of my healing and getting my life back!

I had been experiencing dizziness and nausea for months and I had lost confidence and was scared of going out alone. I was becoming depressed.

Not only did Anne explain my condition and introduce me to the excercises that I needed to do; she LISTENED to me and understood my feelings of fear and anxiety.

I was not"cured" immediately but my appointments with Anne were therapeutic in every sense.

Dear Dizzoriented

Many thanks for your sharing your feedback with us. I can only imagine how horrible it must have been for you to have BPPV, especially having months of dizziness and nausea.

I was really pleased to read how your hearing therapist, Anne has helped with your healing and getting your life back to give you your confidence back so that you are able to go out again independently.

I have shared your lovely feedback with the team at the Laurieston Building, who I am sure will wish you well with your continued recovery.

Thank you again for sharing your experiences with us.

Kind regards

Jeannette
