About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

My son was admitted with newly diagnosed diabetes in January and was an inpatient on ward f64 for four days. I really cannot praise the hospital and the staff enough for the care and attention that was shown to both my son and myself.

All staff were extremely understanding, patient, compassionate and friendly as well as providing an excellent standard of health care.

The support we have received whilst in hospital and also thereafter has been second to none, and made a life changing diagnosis a Lot easier to accept and manage. Thank you!

Claire, thank you for taking the time to review our Paediatric service. We are delighted that the staff on F64 were able to take such good care of your son, and reassure you throughout his stay at hospital. We are equally delighted that staff were able to support you and your son on leaving hospital and managing a new condition.
