"Nurses were helpful and kind at King's College"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill) / General surgery

(as the patient),

I went to King's College Hospital and I found the nursing staff all very helpful. The surgeon took a long time, this is understandable. My outpatients appointment for a CT scan came through quickly. I was kept waiting all day without food and I was sent home at 7.30pm. The surgeon took a while consulting the Registrar. I was disappointed at having to go home as I was still in pain.

I was annoyed at one point whilst waiting for the surgeon, but, also understand that surgery can take longer than anticipated and that they need to deal with emergencies.

The nurses were kind to my wife and daughter and give them tea and sandwiches.
