"Great service, lovely staff."

I was pregnant and decided to do an abortion. I called marie stoppers and they immediately confirmed I was eligible for the NHS funded abortion, I just had to provide my name and my NHS number. On this 1st call they booked me for the 1st appointment (was over the phone). The 1st appointment was just a couple of days later and I got a phone call from a nurse explaining all my options and pros/cons for each and asking a few more medical question as well as the motivation behind my decision - I chose the pill as was just 5-6 weeks pregnant and prefer to go through the pain instead of surgery. The day after they called me again to book the 2nd appointment that took place a week later. I went to the clinic in Ealing, waited just a few minutes and all was sorted very quickly, I had a scan (no worries, you don't see anything unless you ask to), we spoke about contraception options and they gave me the 1st pill and booked me for the next appointment the day after. After the 1st pill nothing happened, no pain, no bleeding. The day after I went there again to take the 2nd pill and antibiotics, again no waiting time at all, they explained me again what to expect and then I took a cab to go back home. Around 3h later I started bleeding and had some strong pain for 2h - nothing major, just a very strong period cramps, but I was 6 weeks pregnant only. Everyone at the clinic and on the phone were lovely, very respectful and really helped me to go through this difficult moment. I read these reviews before and was pretty scared, and then really surprised that they made this experience much more smooth to me. The only thing to note is that my partner wasn't allowed to go to the appointment with me, he had to wait in the waiting room - but this was alright for me. I definitely recommend this Marie Stoppers in Ealing.
