"refused to listen to patients"

I did not want to see these people, but when they rung me they said 'either you make the referral or we will' even after i said i wasn't suicidal, i hadn't self harmed, and i did not want to see the crisis team, i was told, 'if you don't see the crisis team for an assessment you will be sectioned, than made to have one, i felt these people were not, worth talking to they were opening up old healed wounds, they wasted my time, and took time funds and energy away from those who really needed it, i will never ask these people for help, and i dont think anyone here should either.

I’m sorry you had such a negative experience. I am very concerned by what you report, including the comment about being sectioned. This needs to be investigated, but we need more information about the circumstances in order to do this. I strongly encourage you to formally report this by contacting our complaints department via Hellesdon Hospital switchboard on 01603 421421 and providing the further information we need to be able to look into this further.

Thank you

Marcus Hayward
