"Failed to attend - no I think not!"

I have always been more than happy and appreciative of the care received at a most difficult time in my life. However, a recent letter from the appointments department stating I failed to attend an appointment has left me extremely distressed. Over the past 5 years I have attended, punctually, every appointment allocated to me and therefore feel distressed at receiving such a damning letter.

My appointment in February of this year was cancelled thus, I felt, denying me the opportunity of closure. This current communication simply reinforces my belief that the clerical procedures are inadequate, incompetent and insensitive.
