Regular diabetic text at my GP surgery showed traces of blood in my urine. I was referred to a specialist at Rotherham District General Hospital. In one day I had a scan, x-ray and cystoscopy. Results of the tests were sent to my GP. I had further tests as to urine flow at a later date.
It was recommended the personal use of disposable catheters 3 times a day, which recently reduced to twice a day. The supply of equipment from the Rotherham Community Health Centre is promptly dealt with, as is that of the supplier.
I would like to specially commend the nurses in the urology department. they have dealt with this in a sensitive and reassuring way, as did the specialist who dealt with the case originally.
