I would like to thank all the staff who were involved in my care and the delivery of my son at SJH on 16.10.07. My midwife Andrea was really great - careful, reassuring and friendly. Everything was explained to me calmly and clearly. When help was needed it arrived straight away. The anaesthetist was quickly on hand to provide me with superb pain relief. The doctors involved made me feel confident about what they needed to do and were very patient with me. I had been rather worried about labour but my experience was really good and I am sure that my physical and mental recovery was enhanced greatly by the care I received. I have never been in hospital before and was extremely impressed.
