"appointments, repeats all ways make my stress..."

About: Brownlow Health @Princes Park

its 21st century and i have to give 2 days notice to get my regular repeat prescription, they know when its due.

now that its wednesday i cannot get my prescription from chemist till monday. my HBP ran out on friday (early due to cat spilling pill box over and no margin for errors.

was due monday 24th, still have to give 2 days notice.

why is it not automatic its 21st century.

they dont even have a functional website.

spent time today registering only to find out i dont even get my first appointment online.

i cannot walk to surgery as usual as i have a bad leg and cannot stand or walk for more than 5 mins.

i went doctors in february about it was blamed for not sitting closer to door because display was not working. my leg was to bad to be playing musical chairs.

after being very abrupt with me the doctor refused to give me my HBP reading even though i demanded it.

left totally stressed. had my painkillers reduced by half with no consultation.

Hello.

I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced some frustrations at the practice lately.

In view of the various issues you describe, I wonder whether it might be worth you making an appointment to see the practice manager (via reception) to discuss further?

We took over the management of the practice 3 weeks before you posted this review, and it is difficult to say whether these problems are current or relating to previous systems in place.

I would also encourage you to book another GP appointment if you felt your needs weren't met last time.

Just to pick up on the prescriptions issue, we would never assume that medications are due (sometimes medicines are stockpiled or there are unplanned breaks) and so I'm afraid this does require the patient to make a request.

This can, however, be done on your behalf by your pharmacy.
