In March 2016, I had my first knee replaced, feeling a little nervous I was put at ease immediately by my wonderful consultant Mr Ogilvie. My operation went ahead and I can honestly say I've never experienced such a pleasant stay in a hospital as I did at Musgrove. ALL the staff from my consultant to the care assistants were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. I do think having a room to yourself aids recovery quicker.
Well in November 2016, I returned to Musgrove to have my other knee replaced and needless to say the experience was just the same.
A very big thank you to my surgeon Mr Ogilvie, for doing both my knees and putting out of that awful pain. I do believe you have now retired, you will be solely missed. I hope someone in the hospital can pass on these thanks to you somehow.
