I was admitted to A&E via ambulance with shortness of breath (asthma attack with underlying pneumonia) Dr who happened to be in reception saw us arrive and directed ambulance into resus area. I was seen quickly, managed and investigated quickly and efficiently and within a couple of hours had a diagnosis, treatment and plan for discharge. Other patients in the unit were also being managed and sorted quickly and safely. If you are really sick this is a good place to be, if you are unhappy you waited too long, didn't get food/drink on demand, parking was too expensive or you didn't get an answer/treatment for your chronic/minor problem maybe it's because you came to the wrong place. For and accident or emergency this place is excellent!
