"Excellent staff"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

Recently I was admitted for gallbladder removal. From the minute I walked in to being discharged I felt so at ease. I went in really nervous but all the nurses who looked after me after surgery to the ones who admitted me could not have been anymore helpful. I would like to say a special thanks to the 2 nurses who comforted me as I was put under (sorry I can't remember there names) to the nurse (Barbara) who looked after me and got me anything I needed after surgery. It made my experience even more calm and made me less anxious. Thank you.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.
