"He didn't rush her at all"

About: Sandwell General Hospital / General medicine

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter hasn't been well and needed some blood tests. She has had blood tests before and was very stressed about it. The man that helped us was called Jack. He didn't rush her at all and made her feel very comfortable. She said we should tell his boss how good he was she said 'he was very kind and gentle'. Thank you for making what could have been a very stressful situation.....stress and as painless as possible.
It would be good if there were signs to say children dont have to wait.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us. I am pleased to hear that the Phlebotomist was able to reassure your daughter and I will ensure that your comments are passed on. I will take on board your suggestion and review the signage in our blood test areas. Kind regards, Toby Lewis, Chief Executive.
