"Visits are very intrusive"

I have been in the system for a couple of years and I like the structure and the routine. I am from Ireland and my mood fluctuates because I am away from home. The staff have been good and are supporting this by setting up Skype and visits one per month,

The transition for me was rocky, but the staff and my peers helped me. The risk level system is ridiculous. It is terrible that we lose it so quickly and the length of time to build levels back up is "too hard". Visits are very intrusive having staff sit in on visits and coming from so far away and having only two hours is tough for families. Spencer South is a nice ward where everyone comes together to support each other. One change I would like to see is to bring back smoking.
