About: Crosshouse Hospital

(as the patient),

I visited this unit for a colonoscopy and found all the lead up to procedure caring and attentive. The procedure itself was carried out by a team led by Sister Carrigan, whom I had met before to discuss the procedure. This team worked in a manner we can only dream about: industrious, efficient, always courteous and thoroughly professional. Sister Carrigan herself, needless to say, leads this team seriously and in a business-like manner but always with that quite efficiency of the true professional, I wonder if this outstanding service is the model that our country should be seeking rather than the more customary brash, inefficient and chaotic service models that seem to prevail. What a wonderful example they could find in Crosshouse Endoscopy Unit!

I was highly surprised by efficiency and consideration.

This is high praise indeed for Sister Carrigan, thank you so much for sharing such a complimentary endorsement of your experience. I am sure Sister Carrigan will be very proud to hear 'industrious, efficient, always courteous and thoroughly professional' spoken in relation to her (wouldn't we all).

It is a shame that these qualities were not expect, but I am delightful that you did find them.
