"DHC - prompt and efficient service on my doorstep!"

I wanted to write to express my gratitude for the excellent experience I have received recently from four sessions of CBT organised by DHC. Following a recent bereavement and loss of a job in the Teaching Profession, my GP recommended I make contact with the Trust with a view to beginning treatment for the symptoms of anxiety/depression. I did so without delay. My application was processed the day I submitted it, followed by an initial telephone appointment within three days. This quickly resulted in an offer of four CBT appointments running consecutively, in my case at the North Holmwood Surgery. Not only was the whole experience arranged speedily and efficiently, but also my therapist conducted our sessions really effectively. I came away from our meetings feeling that the therapist had really listened to what I was trying to express and the tasks that my therapist suggested between sessions were challenging and rewarding. I was so fortunate to have a therapist with such excellent listening skills. My GP was right - this service, for me, was extremely helpful. Thank you!
