The care and attention I have received from when I was diagnosed in December 2014 till now, when I have my annual checkups, has always been excellent.
All members of staff are always extremely busy but always have time to answer as many questions as you have and I have never felt at any stage that anyone was looking at the clock.
The consequence of this is that you may have to wait a little longer in the waiting room but this small inconvenience, when compared to the care and help you receive, is negligible.
After the first couple of days immediately post-op, I even enjoyed my stay in hospital - the nurses always had a smile and the majority a great sense of humour.. I was also very impressed, and grateful, that the Oncologist took the time and trouble to phone me out of hours on a Friday evening to let me know the results of the Onco type test, they could have waited till the Monday morning but it certainly made my weekend to hear I didn't have to have chemo.
