Last week I had life threatening situation - my ectopic pregnancy had burst inside my falopian tube and I had bled very heavily internally. I was in excruciating pain. My hubby and I went to A&E at wexham park hospital. It took some time to really get admitted into the hospital. The care that I received after that, was only excellent. Because I had lost so much blood already, it became very difficult to find my vain for IV access. For me, the doctors and nurses at Wexham park hospital have been simply angels - in fact God. They saved my life, through so many obstacles they had - for ex. getting IV access inside me, getting my vital signs stable by giving me blood and oxygen. Through all this, all of them were very reassuring and supportive. they kept talking to me and were successful in not letting me panic about my situation. Some of the doctors would sometimes come to me, hold my hand and say things like 'you are doing well, don't worry, you are doing well'. In that life threatening situation, those kind words gave me so much hope. Bless those doctors, nurses and all the support staff. At almost every step, while I was awake, they would explain me what was going to happen next in a very soft and gentle way. I didn't feel that I was with strangers. I felt as if I was in mother's or God's hands. I will always remember all of them, as my life saving angels. May God bless you.
