"cataract surgery"

About: Essex County Hospital / Ophthalmology

I had my second cataract removed just before Christmas as the appointment was offered to me. The way in which I was dealt with was very relaxed with no rush to get the job done, which I was happy with. Within a couple of days my sight was much improved and I no longer need glasses except for reading small print. All the problems I had before such as double vision and blurred vision had gone. The last time I was happy to not wear glasses on a regular basis was over 50 years ago so I am well pleased! I am having a sight test towards the end of January, which will be very interesting. A big thank you to the hospital staff for a job very well done.
