"Excellent care"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Ophthalmology

I was referred to opthomology in November 2016 by the health and wellbeing centre in Fleetwood. It was nearly time for the eye clinic at BP V to close, but the doctor waited for me to arrive so I could be seen. I had a large retinal tear in my right eye which the doctor treated straight away , they took me to the laser lab and fixed the tear using a laser. I am thankful for the extremely good care I recieved that night and on the numerous other visits to the opthomology clinic to make sure laser treatment had worked.

It was great to read that you felt that you received extremely good care and this continued during your subsequent visits.

I will share your comments with the teams involved in your care.
