About: Heartlands Hospital / Accident and emergency

My mother was rushed into heartlands following a fall, she is 90. I would just like to thank all of the staff involved who dealt with her case. The attitude of all of the staff we came into contact with was excellent, even though the hospital was extremely busy. She was fully assessed and an overnight bed was found within four hours. Fortunately no broken bones just bruising.. The Doctor, nurses and porters were brilliant she even got some advice on a recent bout of shingles! ( I can't remember names sorry).

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your feedback about the care and treatment provided to your Mother in Accident and Emergency Department at Heartlands Hospital.

Im so pleased to read that your Mum was assessed and treated in an appropriate time frame, despite the department being extremely busy. I am sure you and your family were very relieved that Mum had not suffered any serious injury, and as a bonus was given advice about her recent bout of shingles!

I will ensure that your feedback is highlighted to the Matron for A&E, as well as the Clinical Director who will communicate your comments to all of the team who work very hard to provide and promote a positive patient experience, often working under difficult pressures.

I hope this is acceptable, and once again thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us.
