"Cancelled appointment"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as the patient),

I have been waiting months for my ENT appointment. I finally received an appointment letter yesterday. However, today I received another letter cancelling the appointment I received yesterday!

What a waste of time and effort to send out an appointment one day, then send out another letter only a day later. The new letter simply says that an appointment will be sent "in due course".
