About: Royal United Hospital / Accident and emergency

My son Jordan was brought in by amulance on monday later afternoon to A&E, with suspected sepsis, from the minute he got to the hospital he was very quickly treated, blood tests,x-rays, antibiotics pumped in to him, we were kept informed of everything going on,it turned out it wasnt sepsis it was a very bad elergic reaction to the antibiotics he was given the week before at the doctors surgery, it did come back he had

Pneumonia, the staff were all really fantastic, a big well done to all staff in A&E please pass on are thanks,,my son was then moved to medical assesment where again they really couldnt do enough for him, always rushed off there feet at all times but never once did they not have a smile for everyone, the nurse that mainly cared for my son there was great, made sure that at all times my son was ok, dispite having so much work to do, they really are worth there weight in gold, on tuesday night late he was moved to surgical assesment where again they all looked after him really well, so a big thankyou to all departments, really appreciate you all.

We thank you for your comments about your son's recent care at the RUH and will forward these on to the Emergency Department teams in A&E, Medical Assessment Unit and Surgical Assessment who, we are sure, will be very grateful for your kind words.
