"More staff like these!"

About: Frimley Park Hospital / Accident and emergency

My friend (Perrie) was admitted to A&E due to an allergic reaction to nuts. She was seen immediately and when she started to improve she was moved to observations. We were greeted by the doctor, who was very welcoming and friendly who showed us to where Perrie would wait. They explained that due to a busy period they can't keep to the usual sepearate genders. They made sure Perrie was definitely ok with this - very reassuring! Then later on in the evening a health care assistant was checking on everyone. They really exceeded expectation. They were friendly, they introduced themselves, they were helpful. I think they went that extra mile, thanks to them we didn't go hungry or thirsty - it's very important not to let people get in those states after all! They made sure Perrie had the red wristband to show nut allergy which no one did in A&E. They are an absolute asset to the team there, nothing was too much trouble. Then the Dr assessed whether she could go home or not, she could, hurrah! They explained everything they needed to know calmly and confidently. Two absolutely amazing team members at Frimley Park Hospital that deserve an awful lot of praise!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on Perrie's visit to our A&E.

We are lucky to have to a great team who do their best every day and they'll be delighted to read your comments.
