I found that I had prostate cancer in 2011. I was seen very quickly at the Aberdeen royal Infirmary within 4 weeks, after first consultation everything went smoothly and quickly, the staff were brilliant, and doctors excellent, they informed all the way through what was going on and why.
After treatment I attended Clinic D and found that the appointments were very good, with little or no delays, today I have been now 6 years after all clear, but there might be indications for it returning, but again the doctors have been brilliant in advising me and monitoring my situation.
What I find most helpful is not to keep the problem to myself but to discuss and share my thoughts, yes I am worried now, but they I have always known that this might happen again within 5 years, but we have to deal with it and be positive in oneself.
I have nothing but praise for the hospital and all the doctors and staff I have encountered throughout my Cancer journey.
