"Childrens Audiology Services"

For eight years my daughter has been under the care of an ENT consultant and the wider team in Audiology. They have seen her through grown cup into a confident young woman with a mild to moderate hearing impairment but about which she feels absolutely ok. She has had a day patient operation to repair her ear drum and subsequently been fitted with a digital hearing aid to which she has adjusted very well. Every member of the team we have ever come into contact with has been unfailing courteous, genuinely interested in my daughter and her thoughts and feelings, plus been willing to explain as many details as I wanted to know. I am very concerned about the whole STP situation and wish to champion the availability of such services locally in East Cheshire. Being able to get to appointment within a relatively short drive makes a big difference to how much school time is missed and that has implications for the wider wellbeing of the child.
