My daughter was born by induction which wasn't the easiest or quickest of births, not to mention urinary retention problems that were seen as "normal" (not being able to pass urine after 12 hours with a recent diagnosis of hydroneohrosis) to a certain member of midwifery staff.
I am glad I had 2 other different and amazing midwives there when my baby was born! I can't remember their surnames but I'd like to personally thank Hilary for providing me with great support and care during active labour (especially when I wasn't really with it with all that Gas & air) and the after support once my daughter was finally out!
I'd also like to thank Lisa for her care post labour and keeping my worries at bay when I was told I'd have to be taken to theatre under GA to have a 3rd degree tear repaired, not what I was wanting to hear after 26 hours of labour!
The care I received post op from her was the best I'd had. Both midwives (from ward 24 I'm sure) gave me a great ending from a not so great birthing experience, thank you very much ladies for providing high quality care to both myself and my baby girl!
