"Fitting and servicing a Blood Pressure Monitor as an Out Patient"

About: Broomfield Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as the patient),

I was fitted with a Blood Pressure monitor. This broke down after 2hrs. I returned to Broomfield Hospital and was told by the receptionist, that I would have to come back the next day as the nurse had told her that she had moved on to other clinic. The receptionist, Karen tried her hardest to find someone who could fix the machine, finally she found Mandy who very kindly put new batteries in the device. I am very grateful to these two ladies who acted over and above the call of duty to save me having to spend another day with the machine. My thanks to them.
