What I liked

i was admitted as an emergency and the staff on ob ward were lovely then i was taken up to ward 7 at 4pm and pretty much left alone for 4 hrs with all my drips run dry i buzzed for an nurse almost crying in pain .

It was clear on this ward any request was seen as too great and got in the way of chat.

I was admitted at 9:30am at at 10pm i still had not been offered anything to eat or drink .

Eventually one of the nurses gave me directions to a vending machine so i could get a drink . She dint even offer to help me with my drip .

What could be improved

everything , i felt absolutly abandonded. The staff are obviously overworked but to be ignored in this way left me crying alone and in a great deal of pain . If i had the money i would go private

Anything else?

this experiance has left me shaken , i have never seen this level of oblivion and uncaring staff in a hospital
