Thank you for making us aware of you current concerns about the time you had to wait to weigh your baby at the new self weighing service at First Friends Group. I have discussed this with the Service Manager for Children and Young People and Children's Centre staff and in response to your comments we will be introducing three sets of weighing scales at Richard Herrod First Friends Group as from Friday 13th January 2017 which hopefully will reduce and ease future waiting times. We will continue to monitor and review the impact of providing extra scales on waiting times and if further changes are required we will endeavour to continue to support families appropriately.

The Family Support Team at the group are available to offer advice and information around topices such as weaning, sleep and behaviour but should you need more specific information regarding a child's development, general health and weight this does need to be directred to the Health Viisiting Team.

Information about changes to the delivery of child health sessions and appointment led sessions with a Health Visitor are available at our signing in desk at Richard Herrod.

Thank you Glenis Children's Centre Co-ordinator
