"Staff were approachable, caring and professional"

About: Muirpark (Short Term Rehab) University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I underwent knee replacement surgery in ward 14 of Wishaw General. The physio Marie and Paul (assistant) attended twice a day to help me to mobilise while still in the ward. Their support was carried out in a professional manner and much appreciated, approachable attitude to their task. I was transferred to Muirpark care home for continued rehab where the CARS team {Fiona, OT; Liming and Val, Physios; and Janet, Christine and Naomi, support workers) became involved. At all times their approachable, caring and professional manner was above what I would have expected.

With their help I have returned home but still require this assistance and that of carers.

Dear Petite

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. I am very pleased to hear that you had a good experience of our physiotherapy service during your stay with us here and when you were at Muirpark. Great to hear that you have managed to get home and that you are managing with the help of your carers. I hope you are continuing to recover and wish you all the best with your new knee. I will ensure your comments are passed onto our staff members

Thanks again

Claire Rae
