"rubbish service"

As a current service user i am appalled at the level of treatment i have.

staff are always off sick and there is no replacement for people who have appointments they are forever chasing up previous appointments instead of making new ones for other clients.

i have not seen my doctor for over a year and have had to request an emergency app.with a junior dr who then makes no follow up.

the on call duty service is a joke and i find myself speaking to nurses rather than drs.

when you request to change the drs that are in charge of your care they have to have a 'meeting' to discuss it.

when it is your right to see someone else if they are not giving you the care you require.

on the plus side the majority of staff are pleasant but do not deal with ur needs accordingly.

i have found myself in crisis several times but refuse to contact the centre as i feel it is waste of time.

when i have had appointments in the past i am never seen on time and find myself waiting for over 30 minutes on several occasions, and then when in my appointment the dr is clock watching and so my appoinment is rushed and ended early.

as a service user i will be in contact with the sutherland centre for many years due to my illness but have little or no hope in ever being discharged as they never have the time to see you.
