My Mum went into a ward.

From a loving mother who was happy

articulate and joyful. After her days in the Ward

being brought in through poor health. Her health had improved - however, she became bedridden. I kept a diary as I found her lying in her own urine on several occations. . No address was made to a leg that began to turn. They became not interested in my Mum who had become bereaved my the loss of my husband six months ago., The Ward is so far removed about caring and more interested in money.

I am a very upset daughter - who is trying to not

become hateful to a system that has its failings.

What could be improved

The system could improve by not thinking of

money but by thinking of the individual

and the individual needs.

Anything else?

Please re-think about

the approach towards the elderly. The

treatment so impacts on the loved ones they

leave behind and we have to live with the NHS failings.
